Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań vowes to ensure accessibility of its website in accordance with the provisions as per the 4 April 2019 Digital Accessibility Act of Public Entity’s Websites and Mobile Applications. The accessibility statement applies to the COMET 2025 conference website.

    Description: Near the entrance to the building from Grunwaldzka Street, there are two parking spaces for people with disabilities, approximately 30 metres from the entrance.

    The main entrance to the building:

  • has stairs equipped with handrails;
  • has a door that opens automatically (from level 0 next to the main entrance); and
  • The building has a second entrance from the yard, where there is a single parking space for people with disabilities, located approximately 20 metres from the automatically opening door to the lift.

  • Inside the building:

  • there are 8 toilets adapted for people with disabilities on level -1 through level 2; and
  • there are lifts with voice commands but no Braille buttons which serve almost all levels and parts of the building.

  • The information system for people with sensory disabilities includes:

  • loops for people with hearing impairments installed in rooms 024a and 024b and in the auditorium
  • plaques with the room number in Braille installed on the room doors.

  • One may enter the facility with an assistance dog without any restrictions (pursuant to the Act on Vocational and Social Rehabilitation and Employment of Disabled Persons).

    The building does not have its own website. The facility has various offices and departments with their own websites.

    There are parking spaces for people with disabilities from Rokietnicka Street, at the Medical Biology Center, approximately 150 metres from the main entrance to the building. The main entrance to the building (from Przybyszewskiego Street) has:

  • a door opening automatically
  • entrance from level 0.

  • Inside the building:

  • there are stairs equipped with handrails, stairs of the main staircase – marked, others – unmarked;
  • there are lifts which serve all levels and parts of the building, with voice commands and Braille buttons;
  • there are toilets adapted for people with disabilities on each level; and
  • information about the layout of rooms is available on the first floor behind the first entrance door, there is a typhlographic plan on the right. Plans are also available at the gatehouse (behind the second automatic door on the left).

  • The building is not equipped with an information system for people with sensory disabilities.

    One may enter the facility with an assistance dog but with restrictions regarding laboratories and workrooms, to be arranged individually, depending on the specificity of the classes conducted.
